No matter who you are or where you are in your faith journey....
YOU arE welcome HERE!

What to expect when you come to CUCC:
-
A Warm Welcome!
-
Services on Sundays @ 10am
-
Coffee Fellowship after the service - yes, DONUTS are included!
-
Children's Church - kids start off in the main service, then after the Children's Sermon, they go downstairs for their own worship experience
-
Casual Dress - jeans, sweats, "Sunday" best....whatever makes you comfortable!
-
Open Communion - once a month we serve communion and ALL are welcome to join
-
A Mix of Styles - we try to blend "traditional" with a bit more relaxed and modern thrown in: think pipe organ and hymns, pews and scripture readings WITH life lessons and current event topics, praise music and videos, maybe even a skit, dance, or discussion too!
-
The Chance to BE YOU - whether you are solid and strong in your faith, or you have questions and doubts, whether you grew up in church, or have never set foot in a sanctuary, whether you want to be involved in everything, or you want to observe from the background, whether you love to sing, or silently reflect....YOU have a place here!

A Note from our Pastor:
Welcome to Community United Church of Christ of Morton, IL. As a congregation of the Illinois Conference of the United Church of Christ we are a people who believe in the Still Speaking God. For us, God is alive and active in the world and in our very lives. Because of God’s presence within and among us, we make distinctive choices. We choose to see all Creation as blessed and a blessing. We cannot choose to love God, and not love others.
We seek to represent that love within the faith community, and witness to that love in the wider community. We pray that you will find your place among those who trust in the love of God, and those who profess Jesus the Christ. You are welcome here to be with us. At some time, we hope that you would be able to join us in person.
This congregation sits on a prominent lot on Main Street at the north end of the Morton downtown. We believe our witness to community values, care for others, and a wide welcome - as expressed in our Open and Affirming Statement of welcome to the vulnerable LGBTQ+ community, is made more important by our visibility.
Come and visit us.
Pastor Chuck Maney
